Ο Δήμος Αίγινας, η Εταιρεία Ελλήνων Φυσικών, η Διεθνής Επιτροπή Επιστήμης και Λογοτεχνίας DHST/IUHPST, The Science, Technology and Medicine Laboratory of the School of Humanities, το Ελληνικό Ανοικτό Πανεπιστήμιο, το  Ινστιτούτο Ιστορικών Ερευνών, το Εθνικό Ίδρυμα Ερευνών, Η Έδρα Επιστήμης, Τεχνολογίας και Σπουδών Φύλου του Πανεπιστημίου Friedrich-Alexander και του Τμήματος Κοινωνιολογίας του Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών, διοργανώνουν ένα τριήμερο διεθνές συνέδριο-εργαστήριο για τη μελέτη της Επικοινωνίας της Επιστήμης και της Λογοτεχνίας στο πολυσύμπαν (03-05/07/2023). Το εργαστήριο CoSciLit έχει ήδη μια καθιερωμένη παράδοση και οι εργασίες που παρουσιάζονται σε αυτό έχουν δημοσιευτεί σε θεματικούς τόμους, ηλεκτρονικά βιβλία, διεθνή περιοδικά κ.λπ. Το φετινό εργαστήριο στοχεύει να συζητήσει διάφορες απόψεις σχετικά με τον ρόλο και την παρουσία της επικοινωνίας της επιστήμης και της λογοτεχνίας σε έναν εξαιρετικά διαφοροποιημένο κόσμο. Η Επιστημονική Διπλωματία είναι επίσης βασικό θέμα του εργαστηρίου καθώς συνδέεται με τις ερωτήσεις μας για το παρελθόν, το παρόν και το μέλλον του κόσμου ποικιλοτρόπως. Η κυρίαρχη ιδέα για την επιστήμη και την τεχνολογία είναι ότι είναι προϊόντα ορθολογικής σκέψης και αντικειμενικής μελέτης. Οι πρακτικές επικοινωνίας που συμμορφώνονται με αυτή την ιδέα στοχεύουν στη διάδοση της λέξης της επιστήμης πέρα ​​από τα σύνορα σαν να ήταν ουδέτερη και διαπολιτισμική. Οι πρόσφατες κρίσεις, ωστόσο, έδειξαν ότι τα διαφορετικά πολιτισμικά πλαίσια έχουν διαφορετικές κοσμοθεωρίες όχι μόνο για πολιτιστικά και κοινωνικά ζητήματα, αλλά και για τον τρόπο που αντιλαμβάνονται, αναπτύσσουν και εφαρμόζουν την επιστημονική και τεχνολογική γνώση. Ομιλήτρια σε αυτό το συνέδριο θα είναι μεταξύ άλλων και η Ηρώ Μελαχροινάκη με θέμα «KEEPING UP WITH KORNILIOS KASTORIADES’ STORYLINE IN SKOPELOS», όπου θα παρουσιάσει, την Τρίτη 04/07, στα αγγλικά, τη ζωή και το έργο στη Σκόπελο του Κορνήλιου Καστοριάδη, ενός από τους σπουδαιότερους στοχαστές της νέο ελληνικής αλλά και  παγκόσμιας φιλοσοφίας.
