A new era for the island of Skiathos promised mr. Thodoris Tzoumas, the newly elected mayor of Skiathos, as he gave his Oath of Allegiance yesterday evening in Bourtzi theater in front of the people and the authorities of the island. A lot of issues are holding back this island and people have really put their hopes in mr. Tzoumas and his team's vision in order to follow a path of growth and cooperation. "We have a lot of hard work ahead- our commitment is to be proved worth of your trust." said the new mayor, after thanking the locals for trusting him with their vote. Mr Tzoumas did not omit to acknowledge the previous mayor, mr. Prevezanos for their cooperation and assistance regarding the upcoming bureaucrat duties. We wish the new mayor good luck and hope for the best!
