The bold and beauties of the world are always looking to discover new paradise corners on earth in order to enjoy their vacation on their buoyant luxury cabins. Here are some of the spectactular yatchs spotted sailing in Skiathos this summer.
Phantom
The 62 meter catamaran tied up in the Old port of Skiathos with the Queen of Jordan Noor as its hostess accompanied by her friends in order to have a short two day vacation in Greece. The group was having fun enjoying the sun, the sea, local food and especially fresh fish. The catamaran is reported to have a renting price of 28.100 euros per week and hosts up to eight people.
Serenity
The member of the royal family of Catar visit Greece very ofter in the summer. A few days ago they were in Skiathos on their luxury yatch Serenity which was provided only for rent. It has not been specified which memeber of the royal family were vacationing on the yatch, but friends and co-worker of the Emir of Catar Hamad bin Tamim Al Thani were present and were also spoted in Zante on the Al Lusail yatch.
Serenity is a 72 meters ultra luxury boat with a renting price of 550.00 euros per week and goes for sale on the astronomical price of 45 million euros. It has 16 cabins and can host up to 30 people. The yatch is equiped with a pool, a jacuzzi, a gum and home cimena. In 2016 it was refurnished with high quality furniture, a more modern design, a bigger jacuzzi and an extended sunbathing deck. It is no woder why it was in the top of the 2017 super yatch list!
Ellada
Even though the name sound like Greece, this yatch was build in Turkey by Bilgin Yatchs which has been in the naval industry for over five generations. The first thing one might notice is that it look a bit like the super yacht «Α Hamilton» which belongs to the Russian billionaire Andrei Melnichenko, close friend of Andrei Abramovich.
Ellada is 45 meters long, had six cabing and can host twelve guests. The Turkish designers sold it for 13,5 million euros in a Georgian bussinesman who came to Skiathos a few days ago for his holidays.
Galaxy of Happiness
One would say Galaxy looks like it just came out of a Star Treck movie! People were left speechless upon seeing it in Skiathos for the first time. It is the biggest trimaran in the world and its presentation raised heads in the 2016 Monaco Yacht Show.
It is a 53.32m luxury yacht, built by Latitude Yachts and delivered in 2016. Her top speed is 30.0kn and she boasts a maximum cruising range of 2300.0nm at 24.0kn with power coming from two 2600.0hp MTU 16V2000M94 diesel engines. She can accommodate up to 6 people with 6 crew members waiting on their every need. It has a renting price of 273.000 euros per week and a selling price of 29,8 million euros.
Lady Nora
The 43 meter yatch is a classic piece which sails to this day offering relaxing vacation moment for its guests. Originaly named "Cocoa Bean", it was desogned by the American Broward company in 1998.
This summer it hosted the Juffali family of Saudi Arabia. Lady Nora has five cabins, can host ten people and a four member crew to serve the needs of the guests. With two diesel engines it can reach a maximum speed of 25hp.
Jaguar
Timeless styling, beautiful furnishings and sumptuous seating feature throughout to create an elegant and comfortable atmosphere. Its impressive leisure and entertainment facilities make her the ideal charter yacht for socialising and entertaining with family and friends. It caught people's attention sailling around Skiathos, yet no one knows who was on it!
Jaguar's interior layout sleeps up to 12 guests in 6 rooms, including a master suite, 1 VIP stateroom, 3 double cabins, 1 twin cabin and 2 pullman beds. She is also capable of carrying up to 13 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience. Built with Aluminium superstructure and Steel hull. With a cruising speed of 15 knots, a maximum speed of 17 knots and a range of 6,100nm from her 130,931 litre fuel tanks, she is the perfect combination of performance and luxury. It has a renting price of 250.000 euros per week.
Universe
The 74 meter long yatch definatelly deserves the title of the biggest boat to sail in Skiathos this summer. Its renting price was reported to be over 600.000 euros per week and though it still remains a secret who was on it, we can only imagine they had a wonderfull vacation!
Universe's interior configuration has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 12 guests overnight in 6 cabins, comprising a master suite, 2 VIP staterooms, and 3 double cabins. She is also capable of carrying up to 19 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience. Universe features a displacement steel hull and aluminium superstructure, with teak decks. She was built to Lloyds Register classification society rules, and is MCA Compliant. With her 165,000 fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 5,000 nautical miles at 12.5 knots. Her water tanks store around 38,000 of fresh water.
Kahalani
The red flag with th white cross of Malta was spotted on the deck of Kahalani yatch, which tied in Koukounaries beach last week. The luxury yatch hosted VIP guests for a renting price of 280.000 euros per week.
The 55.05 metre custom-built Kahalani yacht was launched in 2010 by Dutch shipyard Feadship and features a sophisticated exterior style by De Voogt Naval Architects, the in-house design studio who were also responsible for the naval architecture and layout on board; creating a complete package of comfortable living. The Remi Tessier interior flows through the six cabin layout - consisting of one Master, two Double and two Twin - offering ample accommodation for 11 guests in both style and comfort. Capable of travelling at a top speed of 15 knots with a cruising speed of 12 knots in complete comfort in all weather conditions, with a range of 5000 nautical miles.
