A lovely lady has reached out to us for help in order to find her family roots. She is due to arrive in Skiathos this month and is trying to find out about her great grand father who according to the 1911 census was from this island. His name was Andrew George Maimetas. He was from a line of Sailors, his father George Maimetas was also a sailor. She would love to know if anyone knows anything about him or his family, or even if there are any descendants still on the island. She has kindly also provided a photo.
