The Municipality of Thessaly is issuing a warning in regards to the upcoming weather forecast. In particular, heavy rain is expected from Saturday night (13/7) to Sunday noon (14/7). People are asked to take care while commuting, to avoid walking or driving close to water streams, to be careful of precarious objects (ex. jardiniers, glass etc.) to stay in a safe space during the storms and to make sure they have secured the doors and windows of their houses before leaving.  Local authorities are alert and on 24 hour duty in case of emergency.
