Just a few hours ago a man was reported deceased due to drowning in Agia Paraskevi beach. The man was of British descent, aged about 65 and was vacationing in Skiathos. Due to his heavy medical history, the man started to fell unwell while he has taking a swim with his wife. He tried getting out of the sea but unfortunatelly did not make it on time, ending up fainting in the arms of his wife. People at the beach who noticed the incident made the emergency call and an ambulance was immediatelly sent via Skiathos' Medical Center approximatelly 10" later. The patient was already unconscious by the time they reached the hospital. Our condolences to his wife and family.
