Skiathos: Cultural Education Through Dance Theater From the Cultural Group "Echodrama"

Echodrama Cultural Group (Greece) and TheaterFilmFest (Germany) will implement the learning mobility of individuals project "Cultural Education Through Dance-theatre" for dance and dance-theatre teachers, on Skiathos Island from August 21 until September 4, 2017.
This project is co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union through the Youth and Lifelong Learning Foundation, which is appointed as the National Agency for Erasmus+ for the Youth sector in Greece. Forty six (46) selected teachers (23 from Greece and 23 from Germany), will be given the opportunity to participate in the research project on how to teach the intangible culture of a place through dance and dance-theatre.
This project will be implemented in the cultural room of the Skiathos Lyceum and it consists of workshops, individual research, exchange of ideas with the other participants, parallel activities and events, as well as co-creation and participation in small dance-theatre pieces inspired by the intangible heritage of different places. These pieces will be performed at the Bourtzi Municipal Theatre of Skiathos Island on September 2 and 3, 2017, at 9 p.m., with the kind support of the Municipality of Skiathos.
