Ballet, one of the most distinguished and critically acclaimed ballet ensembles comprising of 100 exceptional dancers and an unrivalled repertory, is landing in Skiathos. On Monday the 4th of July 2022 , theNYC Ballet will perform for the first time and for one night only at the Bourtzi Open Air Theatre from 9.30pm to 10.30pm. Following 3 years of discussions with the internationally prominent ensemble, 9 dancers from the NYC Ballet and the Royal Ballet of London will perform the "Festival Ballet Ensemble featuring dancers from the Royal Ballet of London". The program will include excerpts from some of the most loved classical ballets such as Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty and Le Corsaire, as well as contemporary works from leading choreographers including Wayne McGregor, Christopher Wheeldon and Matthew Ball. The New York City Ballet and the Royal Ballet of London feature among the most prestigious ballet companies since the 20th century and never cease to amaze with their extraordinary productions. The entrance fee is 10 euros (all proceeds going exclusively to the NYC Ballet).
